So it was probably getting some air play even before we met. As I remember, the manager of this apartment building always had a kind of creepy, sweet smell about her that years later I would recognize as the smell of a marijuana cigarette. This may explain why she was so tolerant of the kids who kept playing the 45 of Puff over and over again. About this same time, and maybe after I knew you, I remember watching Commander Cody on TV -- which I realize now were just a bunch of old serials screened as a new TV show. All the guy had was a bullet helmet, a leather jacket and a jet pack, but he was always a favorite of mine. Years later, Dave Stevens would use Cody as the basis for his Rocketeer comic and of course the movie came out of that. This probably accounts for why I remember liking the film so much. Jim
