The H.L. Hunley

I'm sure you've all heard by now of the discovery of the H.L Hunley, the Reb submarine. In honor of the discovery, reenacting poet laureate Don Tracey has composed the following stirring lines of verse:

Roll, Hunley. Roll, Roll, Roll
Your mission was over
You were almost to shore
When the brave captain
Opened the door.

Roll, Hunley. Roll, Roll, Roll
The crew was new to subs
And knew not it is true
The number of dives-to-surfaces
Must evenly divide by two.

...not just inspirational poetry, but sound tactical advice for sub skippers, that there "Divide by Two" rule of thumb. Must have been hard to recruit crews. Perhaps if they renamed it the Funley?
